Rod: Rod is a National Board Certified Teacher of English. He also holds an M.A. in Linguistics and a B.A. in English and Philosophy. Rod lived and worked as a JET in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, from 1998 to 2001. He is currently on a leave of absence from teaching high school in Montana and has returned to Japan as a JET, so that his two children can experience a year of language and cultural immersion in their mother's homeland.
